Mixing Drugs

Using more than one drug at a time (polydrug use) can have unpredictable and dangerous effects. Mixing heroin with other drugs increases the risk of harm. For example, mixing heroin with alcohol, benzodiazepines, or other depressants can be fatal as it increases the risk of heart failure.
